1.What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between pages or visits, such as that you are signed in.
2.Cookies the site needs
These keep the site working. They are always on, because without them you could not sign in, take the course or pay.
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| br_session | Keeps you signed in | 30 days |
| br_cart | Remembers the course in your cart | 30 days |
| br_coupon | Remembers a coupon code you entered | 30 days |
| br_consent | Remembers your choice on the cookie notice | 1 year |
| Stripe cookies | Set by Stripe on the payment form to prevent fraud | Set by Stripe |
Your accessibility display choices, such as larger text, are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. They are not sent to us.
3.The optional cookie
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| br_ref | If an affiliate's link brought you here, credits that affiliate if you buy. It holds a random number, not your name or email. | 30 days |
If you opt out, we remove this cookie and do not set it again. You can still buy and take the course. The affiliate who sent you will not be credited.
4.What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your choice before setting any of them.
5.Your choice
When you first visit, a notice in the corner of the screen lets you accept all optional cookies, or opt out and choose category by category. You can change your choices below at any time.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies the site needs, you will not be able to sign in or buy a course.
